President
Thaddeus Griffin, MBA, BS, AA
Mr. Griffin serves as the Assistant Field Director within the Houston, Branch Office of the Houston Regulatory Audit Field Office. He started his career in auditing in 1989 with Defense Contract Audit Agency in El Segundo, California. Mr. Griffin has over 30 years of auditing experience. Mr. Griffin graduated from Grambling State University with a B.S. in Management and received a Master’s in Business Administration from Alabama A&M University. He has provided encouragement and mentorship to youth and young adults including members of the board. He has also provided financial assistance to those youth aspiring higher education. He believes that education is the catalyst to enhancing the quality of life for youth in our community.

Jerlinda Heard, BS
Ms. Heard has worked as an Aeronautical Engineer for the past 17 years for Lockheed Martin. She currently works in Airframe Structural and Equipment Installation Design. Ms. Heard is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering. In high school, she was a pioneer serving as a member of the first class to participate in the Academy of Math, Science and Engineering at John F. Kennedy where she later graduated in the top ten of her class. Ms. Heard has been an exemplary student and consummate professional her entire life. She has served as a mentor to youth and has provided financial assistance to youth in high school and those who are pursuing higher education. She believes that education is the great equalizer to success in life.

Huey Dunomes, MPA, BS
Mr. Dunomes serves as a Program Manager for the Tennessee Department of Children Services. He has been a public servant for 20 years. He began his career in 1997, with the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. He received a BS in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Central State University in Wilberforce, OH in 1997 and later received his Masters in Public Administration from Strayer University in Memphis, TN, in 2011. Mr. Dunomes is a long standing member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He was mentored by, Thaddeus Griffin, who instilled in him the importance of education. Mr. Dunomes is a perfect example of how higher education can have a positive impact in a person’s life and he is passionate about ensuring that other youth are afforded the same opportunity.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to encourage and support our youth. Education is something that we take very seriously, and our board is working each and every day to make a positive impact.
